whiskey island coast guard station

the coast guard station on whiskey island is pretty neat. in 1972 it closed, and then reopened in 1984 as a restaurant/night club. it only lasted another year after that before it was shut down again. it has been abandoned ever since. the place is pretty much falling apart. the floor is totally unsafe to walk on, but the lighthouse is still in great shape. provides a good view of lake erie.
