this howard johnson is right along the coast of lake erie in cleveland ohio. it's sometimes called the "cleveland lakefront hotel". well this is your typical 13 story abandoned hotel. there's a pool on the ground floor, and easy roof access providing a great view of downtown cleveland and lake erie. all of the floors were gutted, which was a bummer because it hardly resembles a hotel at all. it was advertised as having "every room with a view of the lake". pretty cool concept. it looked as if the ground floor was home to quite a few homeless guys, but we didn't run into any.
